Re: About to start a game

Fantastic :)

I've not had a chance to get this to the table yet, despite gifting each of my group a copy (I don't think they were that fussed by Faserip) so I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.

Tales of the Village - Familiars

My PbF game on RPGGeek has the children playing the witch/wizard and the adults playing familiars. I needed a way to create some character within the familiars and so I've been thinking on ways to do that. So here are the first two questions/choices the Familiars have: Wild or Tame? - Were you raise...

Re: The ComeBack Inn, a Blackmoor campaign on RPoL

I have two sites that I use for PbF (Play by Forum). The biggest I use is RPGGeek, but I have also run and played in games on RPoL too. I like it, but nowhere near as much as the Geek. Where RPoL does excel is the ability to have threads in your game viewable by only certain people. So you would hav...

Re: Maelstrom on the Bundle of Holding

It's worth noting that the latest version of Maelstrom is Maestrom Gothic (set in the Victorian age) and this is the first release of that game!

human(ish) forum issue solved, and introducing me as forum-aide!

Hey all, I hope everyone is well? :P Firstly - If, like me, you've been unable to access the human(ish) forum it was because of a permissions error. Graham has now made me a full admin and I've sorted the issue out. So you should all have access to that forum. Secondly - as just mentioned Graham's m...

Re: Tales of the Village

Character sheet link broken - 404 Not Found. Also, good sir who illustrated this - can we Please have cards for the Skills in the book? I feel these need to be included in the Card Pack so my daughter can have her "ForestLore" skill in front of her (and any others she picks up during the g...

(First posted on RPGGeek at https://www.rpggeek.com/geeklist/214139/item/4890349#item4890349 ) (18/09/16) Poppy today asked me if we could play "the box story game" - meaning Tales of the Village. I have put the cards for her witch into a small clear box along with the dice needed for her ...

Poppy Witch's tales of her village

(First posted to RPGGeek at https://www.rpggeek.com/geeklist/210578/item/4714912#item4714912 ) (28/06/16) Poppy is still rather young for RPGs. She is 4.5 years old. But I want to get her started and so a while back I ought Tales of the Village and the cards for it from my friend Graham Bottley at A...

Very nice too :)

Will you be extending the road out of each of the three gates with maybe a notation of where it heads?

GM Card Aids - Magic

Hi hi! So, my PbF game is nearing a close (it's been an interesting ride). I gave the guys an option for an easy out as they did the beast a really nasty wound in the very first arrow shot (crit vs failure; hind leg useless for a round and infected) but instead they decided to press the advantage an...

Re: Maelstrom Domesday Thoughts

The Beast of Ledsham. I'll try to run it to my team, but... I don't know how to read it - LEDSHAM. 1. Leds-haem or 2. Led-schaem? Which is correct? I pronounce it Led-sham (Led-sham), but I'm no expert on Northern English place names! I think that as long as you pronounce it the same throughout it ...
