Re: New book...Demons of Doom
I think this is a GREAT project for AFF! One of my concerns with AFF was that it might wined up simply rehashing older material. I think the basic system is second to none and really wanted to see NEW (original) material for this great game! "Looking back" builds the fan base, looking forward makes ...

Well I finally finished converting the Riddling Reaver to AFF2, so i'll be running that on sunday.d6&d6 wrote:Hi
Just want to start a light thread that talks about what your next AFF adventure will be. That will be the place to share what we're up to and maybe inspire each other in the process.

I'll be the odd-man-out here and vote wheelies. When I first encountered them I remember thinking "what the hell are those???". I had never seen anything like them before or since. Awesome little buggers! Little death-dealing OREO cookies with arms and knives...what's not to love?

I accidentally fell upon your videos earlier this week while googling "Advanced Fighting Fantasy". Good stuff, MountainPeak11.MountainPeak11 wrote: I'm planning to release more videos about news on these books in the future on my channel.

Re: HEROES COMPANION BOOKS
I might be in the minority here, but I like my books separate. Hardcover? Yes! But separate. Why? Because I like not having to lug around a monstrous tome of gargantuan girth when all I need is the rules. Also, most of my player will get the core rules, but don't really have a desire for monster or ...

Over on his excellent blog, Slloyd14 interviews Graham (parkusuk) http://www.lloydofgamebooks.com/2013/04/april-to-z-v-is-for-very-nice-of-graham.html Already read it. ;) I hadn't. Now I have! Re: HEROES COMPANION BOOKS
(Also is there any possibility of you releasing hardbacks of the core rulebook, and if people like me who bought it literally when it had just come out want one with all the errata updated, would we have to pay extra?) Yes, please! I would buy a hardback copy of the core rulebook in a heartbeat. Wa...

Re: AFF Companion - Status
Thought you'ed like to know that Heroes Companion has hit Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Picked mine up yesterday. So far...awesome!!! All the new additions (i've only read half the book so far) are great. They add interesting options for AFF without adding complexity (which is what I was afraid of). It...

My thoughts exactly, Hullalla ! A little bit of classic, then a little bit of new, then a little more classic, then some more new...keeps everything fresh.

Re: Myriador d20 modules
Oh, I completely agree with you d6&d6 ... the old "classics" are great! And I'm not averse to seeing old stuff updated to current AFF2, but I do think you need to be carefule not to fall into a "rehash only" rut. I love me some new modules/adventures along with my tried and true classics, least the ...

Re: AFF1e ruleset question
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51EAWm%2BewWL._SL500_AA300_.jpg This and RR were my first exposure to Roleplaying FF-style! Regardless of the missing rules (even when combining both FF:tIRPG and tRR) it is, along with B/X D&D, my all time favourite ruleset! I would kill to have new copies of ...
