Re: AFF and More AFF in the Bundle of Holding

Whoa! I don't think I've ever seen previously unreleased material in a BoH before. Kinda contradicts how I assumed they worked.

Wow, the forum seems a lot more active these days!

Just wondering -- are a lot of new people interested in the game as a result of the books being now available in PDF?

Anyway, it's nice to see so much activity in the forum. Guess I'll be checking in more often!

Re: Out of the Pit in pdf format!

The pdf looks great! I was pleased to see that the art looks much better to my eye (higher contrast) than it does in my print copy.

Re: Fairly big news incoming

I was pretty excited when I saw the Heroes Companion available in PDF and picked it up right away. I worry though, that without the core book available, the audience on OBS for AFF will remain limited, Any new developments? I'm pretty much done buying anything other than digital editions these days ...

By the way, sorry if I'm raising a sore subject. I imagine it must be pretty frustrating at your end as well to not have these products in proper distribution...

Re: Out of the Pit II - Status

So it's been about a year now. Is there still a plan in place for Cubicle 7 to get this (and/or Warlock of Firetop Mountain) into U.S. distribution? I know I can order it direct, but would really rather avoid shipping and support my FLGS.

Will this eventually be sold through US distributors as well?

Re: Some New Magic Items

Blood Feast : This sword was created long ago by a vampire lord, and even now is likely possessed by a vampire. At night there seems to be a crimson sheen to the blade, and the pommel is styled as a clawed hand of jet, grasping a malevolent-looking stylized eyeball. Once per day, upon scoring a cri...

Re: Some New Magic Items

The Orc Skin Hauberk is intriguing because the idea can be used for any race. I think it should include a leather cap and face mask which conceals the wearer's features - the idea of different races seeing different things at the same time is probably best avoided. Do you think the illusion should ...

Re: Colour me impressed.

I've got only one problem with AFF - books are too many ("English are too many" - Braveheart :)). My pile is growing. I would be very glad if Graham makes some anniversary (or sth) version of AFF - compilation of 3 books (for instance) - rulebook, bestiary and Titan. This is actually something we h...

Some New Magic Items

I thought would share some magic items I've designed for a scenario I am planning. I'm trying to honor the spirit of the game by keeping permanently enchanted items limited in scope of their use, and limiting more powerful effects to be single-use items. I also thought I would mention that none of t...
