Re: WOFTM session. Fun stuff an Analysis.

Most Fighting Fantasy books were meant to be playable and beaten with either minimal or no combat. WOFTM is supposed to be one of those books. Where did you find this statement? It doesn't match my experience with FF gamebooks and, in general, it would be strange calling "Fighting Fantasy" a series...

and (I believe) a fan-created AFF version of Deathtrap Dungeon, too.
You believe correctly: I run that about 30 times on various platforms! ;)
No joke.

Re: WOFTM session. Fun stuff an Analysis.

Some gamebooks are exlicitly more geared towards relatively novice adventurers, like the Snow Witch and the Island of the Undead, so it maes sense that the Director that wants to convert classic gamebooks to AFF adventures creates a suitable sequence of adventures.

Re: New AFF Adventure released - Inn of Last Hope

I think this is a nice, horror adventure dealing with some super classic canons for horror adventures and coming out of the challenge with flying colours! I liked the fact that everything inside the Inn is coherent and definitely makes sense! The descriptions create the right kind of atmosphere and ...

Re: WOFTM session. Fun stuff an Analysis.

I participated to the original play testing for this adventure and my impression is that this is not for starting characters, but for adventurers with quite some experience, that can afford good weapons and armour, beyond good food. Of course, the more characters you have the better, for the outnumb...

Raiders of the Desecrated Temple

I am about to complete the third run of this adventure and I have to say that it is a very nice one. It is hard and you can have characters killed, but it is also one of that adventures that the players genuinely feel happy and relieved when they complete it (with their best wits), that is everythin...

On one hand I would like to write a short adventure, on the other hand I would like to pick up the duty of flashing out completely a different Sorcery style for every number (one for each Old World nation)

Re: Text thread

Shall we use these templates? AFF2 template in docx format for MS Word and odt format for Open Office. You might need to right click on the link and pick Save Link As or whatever it is in your browser. The templates use styles. So if you change the Normal style to a different font size the normal te...

Re: Text thread

What kind of material are you looking for? AFF2 adventures? Ideas for adapting AFF2 to other settings from literature, etc.? New magic styles? Anything else?
What would be the ideal length of this stuff?

Re: AFF Fanzine (AFFFZ?)

One-off adventures easy to drop in any campaign (they may be either for AFF or for SA)
Adaptations to other settings (supers, lovecraftian, etc.)

Rather than focussing on having many pages and fantastic layout I'd rather focus on being snappy and fairly frequent.

Re: Blackmoor Living World campaign with AFF2 being published!

It depends. Some authors are English-speakers, so they get translated in Italian, some other authors are Italian speakers and they get translated in English. Some other author is neither English nor Italian speaker... so it's a double translation.
