Re: God generator

Well... sounds like you have Prometheus AND the Eagle ready to eat his liver!!!
If Prometheus was a god that gave the fire (i.e. technology, civilization, knowledge...) to the Humans, perhaps the Eagle one is the god of Ignorance! 8)

Re: AFF Stone Age

Did you think about the option of having a Neanderthal playing character? I would also put some very strong limitation to metalworking (otherwise it wouldn't be a proper Stone Age) making metal relics from aliens or ancient civilization even more "magic". Perhaps a metal weapon against a wood or sto...

Re: New AFF Adventure released - Inn of Last Hope

In Yorkshire there are too many places like that, that would be perfect opportunities for the territory and are instead left rotting or torn down.

Re: Gates of Death

Maybe, but his worldbuilding produced very playable settings, in fact a lot of the AFF games that we all run and play are based in Allansia, that is fundamentally a fantasy continent designed mostly out of his gamebooks.

Re: Gates of Death

Actually Port of Peril is not bad at all! It is not as good as Deathtrap Dungeon, but it can stand its ground against all other Fighting Fantasy gamebooks written by Ian Livingstone.
Said that, I agree with you in being disappointed by internal artwork.
