Re: Poll: what is Titan's most iconic creature

I forgot that another "unique" creature of FF are the Bays, but probably they are not the most memorable one (yes, they are the ones that like playing Bays' ball... not the most amusing joke of the serie... :roll: ).

Re: d6 -> d12 suggestion

I agree. On top of this, having the majority of results at 7 and lower and lower probabilities the more and more you go towards extreme values (2 and 12), you give higher relevance to the starting Skill value, as this way a single extra point of difference is definitely more significant. If having a...

Re: New AFF game for play by post

This setting + ruleset seems to attract quite a lot of interest, to the point that I just opened the THIRD game: http://www.rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=54485&date=1360180673
It will be difficult for me to open more...

Re:

Back on topic: Graeme, will you be releasing a range of 'tokens' for the AFF2e mass battle rules? If they're anything like the rules in Allansia, this would be a great way of visualising the battle without going down the miniatures and scenery route I'd like to quote this previous post to say that ...

Re: 0 level play for AFF 2

I'm pleased by how it started: there is a mix between FF fans / veterans and of absolute beginners that never heard of FF. I also opened a second game in parallel http://www.rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=54371&date=1359404455 and probably we'll start early next week. Do you want to join? just open the link a...

Hi Brimgeth,

here http://arion-games.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=476 you can find the proposal that I recently made at a play by post game.
However, it is not exactly for "heroes", but more for farmers and peasants that want to start (from zero) a life as adventurers and are not born heroes.

I think that the most "iconic / signature" one is the Rhinoman, as you can't find any other Rhinoman (or similar) in any other setting. However, the cover image of the Manticore in Sorcery! book is one that you don't forget easily (but the Manticore is a monster from Ancient Greek mythology, so you ...
