Re: AFF Reviews

http://maurolongo.wordpress.com/2011/08 ... fantasy-2/

This is a very long and detailed review in Italian, covering lots of aspects of the ruleset, including its history and how it has been "modernized" with AFF2e for new players.

AFF1e ruleset question

I recently came across this book by Steve Jackson http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fighting-Fantasy-Introductory-Role-playing-Game/dp/0140317090/ref=sr_1_47?ie=UTF8&qid=1365700176&sr=8-47&keywords=fighting+fantasy http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51EAWm%2BewWL._SL500_AA300_.jpg and I feel confused. I th...

Re: Blacksand - Status

Are the small adventures set in Port Blacksand from the Dungeoneer and Blacksand! incorporated?
And how about the City of Thieves and Midnight Rogue?

Or is it a more descriptive book / gazzetteer, like Titan?

Re: More on Scifi AFF2

I think that appointment with F.E.A.R. and the "supers" version of the game should be another, independent version of the ruleset, different from the sci-fi one.

Re: Grittier wounds

The grittier damage / wound system that I experienced insofar is Blood, Guts and Glory (a non-commercial ruleset http://www.gratisgames.webspace.virginmedia.com/files/Blood,%20Guts%20&%20Glory.pdf ). In this game you can find yourself limping forward after a fight with a torn knee ligament, a few br...

Re: Tell Me About the Setting of Titan & Allansia

I'm having a go at converting Irillian An old white Dwarf article/ adventure for AD&D from the 1980s based in a small city, and tweaking it to a more Titan flavour, to try with a group at some point in the future. :D Put a little effort on it and wrap up something that can be posted on this site as...

Re: Some Questions

Personally I would feel uncomfortable with PCs whose base stats were far outside the normal range (e.g. SKILL more than 10, given that SKILL 11 confers a 97% chance of success at normal tasks When they arrive at having a 97% chance at normal tasks, give them hard tasks that have a -4 penalty: if ju...
