Adjust the Natural Mage Talent I agree that it misses out on all the tension/danger/fun if you can never get a critical fail when you cast spells that cost 1. How would you change it? As I had here . Absolutely, the skill rolls would have a 42% chance of success at best, but we can get around this. Some tasks can have automatic success if someone has x or more points in a skill.
