Re: Salamonis Book?
Whilst finishing off Blacksand, it occurred to me that a Salamonis sourcebook would be a good addition to the line. Adventure hooks, the royal court, intrigue, forest of Yore etc all seem to be good starting points for Allansian adventures and it seems like a good idea to my overheated brain.. YES ...

Re: Some Questions
I've devised a more detailed xp system which makes it take a while to reach 200 xp. And even then it's not like all the players are going to scream "OMGOMGOMG I NEED A NEW TALENT". They're more than likely going to want to boost their stats or obtain another special skill point. Can I ask why you d...

Re: Some Questions
I meant to say talents. My sleep quota goes right down at lambing time.... Ok talents... but  1000 xp? I tought that it was only 200 xp to buy... (AFF rpg core page 56) I think i might stop posting "tehnical" information for a bit! Well hehe... you say 'only' 200, but I've dev...

Re: Some Questions
Nope, it's not a maximum. However if you reach +4 in any skill your supposedly at a masterful level.Kheldar wrote:Thanks for that
Special Skills, they can be increased to a maximum of +4?

Re: Encouraging players into Titan
Great idea. If you don't know already I got into the original gamebooks long before AFF (I never read Dungeoneer etc.) so I already had a firm grasp of the world of Titan before diving in. I think that's what's made me such a confident DM with AFF.

Re: D&D levels into AFF xp
So I'll try the 100xp = 1 level in D&D modules played in AFF and will share to you how it worked. I'm not sure this can work at every level, as in D&D the experience required is always higher and higher while you level upper and upper. Maybe it can be OK for the first 3 or 4 levels. Indeed, and thi...

Re: D&D levels into AFF xp
Ok cool, well here it is then. http://www.4shared.com/office/h9Y1YcY5/EXP_Table_pdf.html It works on various deeds and actions, so the reason why I haven't been using levels so far is because if you have more EXP then automatically you've done more things both beneficial to you and others, so will h...

Re: D&D levels into AFF xp
The AFF handbook is very general about handing out EXP, such as every adventure = 50 and a campaign is something like 200 right? I've made a rather detailed list of my own about how to hand out EXP which is working well so far. However I haven't got far enough in my campaign to assign "level boundar...

Re: D&D levels into AFF xp
I suppose the only importance I can think of is that you only get certain abilities when you reach a certain level (which doesn't happen in AFF), or that you're about to start an adventure and it says it's suitable for "four 6-8 level players". Because this doesn't really happen yet I don't see why ...

Re: Myriador d20 modules
Well like I said, I'm currently making an AFF adventure for Fighting Fantazine, although of course it isn't based off any of the books. But at least you'll have something to entertain you while I work on an AFF conversion.

Re: Myriador d20 modules
I'd love to have time to convert some adventures to AFF, especially as I've heard that the Myriador d20 conversions could have been better. I think it would be great to do Moonrunner (one of my faves) or Legend of Zagor. Perhaps in a next life... or if I make myself time which is what normally happe...

Re: HEROES COMPANION BOOKS
So, for those who have their Heroes Companion, what are your thoughts so far? Will the new material be useful? I'm most interested in the new types of magic, and I'm planning to use some chaotic magic for my final boss of my campaign. However the other stuff to do with mass battles is currently not...

Btw ignore my previous post. I'm now currently creating an adventure for AFF to be published in Issue 13 of Fighting Fantazine!
