Re: Citadel of Chaos Orc-Like Creatures

Basically lots of different ways to combine magical effects to do something. It’s a good case study for any directors looking to do something more than just “Evil wizard zaps you with lightning.”

This range of tools and approaches is one of the reasons why I love AFF!

Re: Citadel of Chaos Orc-Like Creatures

Sounds like magic to me! Nice use of Illusion (1), Sleep (2) and Combine (+2). So doesn’t necessarily have to be a powerful magic user but good combination.

Re: Citadel of Chaos Orc-Like Creatures

Do they appear elsewhere in the book? Also do they teleport or seem too (in reality jump out from behind a bookcase).

Do they even exist (again do they come back)? Could it be a combination of an Illusion spell with a sleep minor spell?

Re: Threat

Just to be clear it’s obviously the case that the one with the bargain skill doesn’t necessarily have to to be physically imposing. They can do the talking while other characters act as the rather muscular threat. Mr Big in the film Zootropolis is a great example of this.

With regards to Steve Luxton, that’s Mr Nibbs isn’t it? I believe Graham mentioned that he hadn’t heard anything from him in some time and feared the worse.

There should be also a "grappling" option, to capture people without hurting them too much...
Isn’t that covered by the Brawling skill?

Re: Threat

I second Bargin with a bonus if the character is especially menacing (v. Strong, obviously dangerous etc.)

Re: Elf Abilities.

It’s in Titan p.53 in the section “A Long, Long Life”. They give a good overview about how it affects them.

Re: Sensational Atlas of Titan

You’ve summed it up nicely. It’s the same in real life. You can walk in a village in the North of England, Belgium, South of France and then middle of Italy. They all have the same basic objects and locations: family houses, roads, cars, people walking around, fields outside the village etc. But the...
