Blacksand has a table for random inhabitants at the back if that helps. Plus random feature and personality.

That’s a great idea, I’d never thought of that. It would make a nice dramatic start to an adventure and give plenty of hooks to work off.

It also makes more sense than going on an adventure into dark dungeons with a group of muscular people you just happened to meet in the pub.

I actually used it for the background. The characters were scattered across the scene in different positions as exceptional individuals but not in control of events. What if I was to create some rumours or something for those settings? Would that be okay? That would be really helpful actually! I’ve been trying (and failing) to write an adventure for Torra, what we could do instead is have a series of adventure hooks based on a list of rumours. What do you think?

There is no fixed setting in the book and it even explains how you can use it for different settings. You are given the tools to make your own or fit it to whatever you want. There are a couple of adventures which have been released and the equipment/ships book which go in the direction of a Travell...

Sounds fine as long as the player has access to the components and tools. You might want to limit the complexity of the robot which they can make saying that high complexity robots need to be built in specialist factories.

Do you mean the cost of the fuel itself? I don’t know if the cost of the ship is the best measure. What if you have lots of weaponry which increases the cost but would not necessarily increase the fuel consumption. How about a combination of speed and number/size of modules?
