SkinnyOrc's Notebook

Post by SkinnyOrc » Sun Jan 08, 2017 9:16 am

I've finally gotten around to knocking up a website for my AFF stuff, http://users.tpg.com.au/shargl/aff/. I had most of it already from a previous website so I don't have a lot of excuses for it taking this long. There's not a huge amount on it yet but I have some more stuff just about finished.

Epic!
He just sits there tapping away all day on a tiny screen. But he tells everyone that he is slaying Orcs.

Thanks guys. I've added some random generators for pub names, character names and NPC characteristics. These aren't really new either, I had them done already for another game. With the character name one you have to pick which language you want the name to be based on. I'm going to apologise in advance to native speakers for misusing their language, it's only to give the names some flavour. You may need to F5 your browser to get the updated page.

Those are some seriously cool pub names... I got The Seven Warriors and The King & Foal and I will definitey be using both!

I don't know if it is just the iPad, but the name generator is just giving German names for me... the German names are good, though!

Hmm, it means it's ignoring the radio button choice. How about Characteristics?

Same story, it just gives one trait and two features regardless! It's all working fine on my laptop so I guess it is just an iOS problem.

They all work fine in Firefox but trying different browsers I get what you do in IE 11. It used to work in IE and Safari so it seems I'm doing something that's not allowed any more. I'll look into it.

My website has had an update to add the new material I've been posting here.

I notice reading up I was told almost a year and a half ago my random generators didn't work on all browsers any more. Which I got around to fixing a few weeks back...
