Viscera! Blood, Gore, and Grit for AFF

Postby Andy Bartlett » Fri Mar 17, 2017 3:18 pm

Hello fellow er... Advanced Fighting Fantasiers? I was registered on this board some time ago, but forgot my log-in details and have been satisfied to lurk for a long time. Some of you might have read some of my AFF2e posts at my blog Known World, Old World, or seen my posts on G+. However, I have (more or less) just finished an AFF project, a supplement that provides advice, tables, and rules for adding blood, gore, and grit to your games of AFF (hopefully while keeping everything a simple as it should be).

So here's Viscera!

Let me know what you think (typos, errors, etc. gratefully received, with a view to correcting them in v1.1).

Hiya, and welcome to non lurking status :D

That looks interesting, will definitely give that a read. (After I have prepped for my game tonight!)

We've been talking about your 'Pathetic Aesthetic' over on the Strike to Stun forum recently due to the 4e WFRP news, so its quite funny to see you here as well.

Cheers, Steve.

Yeah, I was wondering why more than two or three people were visiting my blog each day!

I'm not sure if I remember my log-in details for Strike to Stun, either...

This is amazing! I usually make a full day of eating well and sleeping restore 1 stamina, and a week 1 skill, and priests heal 1 stamina for every 3 devotion, and in the case of a high priest, 1 skill as well. However, you do not say how much Experience Points are required to "heal" a wound.

I wanted to keep everything as simple as possible, so the loss of 1 SKILL causes by a lingering wound can be recovered by spending EP to raise SKILL as normal. This doesn't mean the wound has healed, just that the Hero has trained their body, adjusted their technique, etc. to account for the wound.

Thanks for the clarification

Goodness, is there that many? ;-)

Either way is fine. PM doesn't clutter the thread and expose my illiteracy!

I'm sure its fine, I've found one on line 8 of page 4 :P

'Your adventure end here' I think there an 's' needed somewhere on one of those

Page 8 line 7 is missing an 's' from the word she.

No judgement here :D for now though I will leave you for a bit as I grab supplies.
