Monkey?

Post by shintokamikaze » Wed May 09, 2018 9:18 am

Anyone watching the new legends of monkey on netflix, I loved the old 70s version as a kid but the new version is a big hit with my kids, lots of kungfu and magic action and some good scenario ideas

I've seen the old ones but only ads for the new series yet. Sounds like they were filmed in New Zealand so I might recognise something!

Newt of D101 games has apparently put together a Monkey RPG. The free Quickstart is here:

The full version was available for awhile for free (pay what you want), but only the Quickstart is showing up. I got the full version several years back and the RPGNow product page for it doesn't exist for it when I click d to go to it in my RPGNow Libary to go to the product page.

Also, you may want to give a listen too.

That is one of the few podcasts I listen to.

Surprised now one mentioned Frankie Avalon once played the money king in a movie. ;) (Comet shows that animated film a lot.)

Are you talking about just another adaptation of Journey to the West?
He's a real Nowhere man, sitting in his Nowhere land, making all his Nowhere plans for Nobody.

Yeah they're all based on the old Chinese story Journey to the West, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journey_to_the_West.
