Looks like late April at the moment, but i may be able to bring this forward. It is partly down to Cubicle 7, who will be printing and distributing, but they are very keen to get this out ASAP.

What's the actual system? As per the books? From this post and nostalgia I'm going through the Warlock/Firetop Mountain. Haven't looked at the 'advanced' though.

The system was originally published thus:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeoneer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blacksand!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allansia

The new book will be the core system completeley re-written. It is broadly the same as the gamebook system, but much more adaptible

Great news !

I own the original Titan and Out of the Pit books, so I was wondering if the newer edition will have new content. Especially will the non-gaming content from Blacksand an Allansia be in the new Titan book and will the Out of the Pit stats be ugraded for the new system ?

The new core book will have new material, but not the Blacksand stuff, as that is slated for a new book. Titan and Out of the Pit will be direct reprints, due to the license, but we will be aiming for an OotP 2!

Really looking forward to the revised AFF RPG, chaps. The FF books were one of the first things that got me into roleplaying, and I fully intend to run AFF at the lunchtime RPG club I run for the kids I teach. It's a shame it's not out already, as I'm going to be starting a new game with them in a fortnight, but such is life. :)

cheers!

Will the skill list be complete or will the ones that are in Blacksand and Allansia wait until those books?

Most of the rules material from both of those books will be in the core, although some of the setting type and Director-specific material will be held back to a later book.
