A Rough Guide to the Pit

Post by Andrew Wright » Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:28 am

This new book is available as a PDF here, featuring art by Mike Tenebrae, Huargo, Johan Tieldow and Mustafa Bekir:

Adventurers always seem to be dealing with demons and monsters coming out of the Pit. Isn’t it time we go back into the Pit to see what all the fuss is about?

For the first time ever, we bring you the definitive guide to the Pit; the realm of Demons and the Undead, and scourge of all that is Good upon the world of Titan. Dare you open this loathsome tome and discover:
  • Descriptions of the 8 Demonic Planes
    12 brand new Demon types
    A random Demonic Plane generator
12 new Encounter Tables; including 1 for each Plane
22 new Evil Gods to worship
New rules on Demonic Familiars (taken from the forthcoming Return to the Pit)
A new and expanded Demonic Hierarchy, featuring all the Demons and Undead from this book, Demons of Doom, Out of the Pit, Beyond the Pit, and the soon-to-be released Return to the Pit
It's what has kept me away from Out of the Pit 3/Return to the Pit for 6 months.

I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think.

OMG This is epic!!
He just sits there tapping away all day on a tiny screen. But he tells everyone that he is slaying Orcs.

Still reading but it's impressive. All the great art's original for the book? Huargo's "The Plane of Blood" reminds me of Ian Miller, who's always been the master of the sort of trippy stuff you need for the abyssal planes.

I'm not that into inter-planer adventures but a nice background book to have. A lot of it will come in handy for games set on Titan too, like all the new demons and gods of evil.

Did you back the Demons of Doom Kickstarter, 'cos the PDF of it's free with that? Just in case you didn't spot the mail.

Was it intentional to make Rough Guide watermarked?

No...The default is pdf and i always check that and then it sets it to watermarked. I have changed it again, but let me know if it reverts.

This just came in today. I only had a chance to take a quick look at it and it looks awesome so far. I love the Art on the inside.
I'm impressed with Andrews work so far. I picked up Titan Herbal a while back and only looked at it a month ago. I was really happy that he had divided the flora/fauna lists into their most commonly grown location.
