The Shattered Amulet adventure

Post by Slloyd14 » Sun Aug 04, 2019 10:45 pm

Hi all! I'm working on an adventure based on the adventure from the Advanced Heroquest core book. It's called the Shattered Amulet and the heroes have to recover the 4 parts of the amulet and put them together so they can kill a powerful Rate Man ruler.

It's not finished yet, but I will update it in time.

i remember that from Adv Heroquest!
colour me very interested.

especially the mystic maze part, in the original board game this part was guarded by some magical fireballs which moved around the map and some ratmen assassins IIRC

i remember that being the most interesting part of the game sadly, the other parts were not as inspired

I agree. The final confrontation is a bit lackluster. Maybe I can add to it. There doesn't need to be just one bad guy trapped in the ice.

I'll continue work on this when I've finished my latest SCRAWL adventure.

i was thinking more the 3rd or 4th? cannot remember which one.

the first was just warriors from warrior clan
the second was magic and assassins from clan Eshin
i think 3rd was Clan Moulder so mutants and masters: rat ogres, giant rats and regular rat men: more differentiation here was possible but i don't recall it being that great

was 4th Clan Skryre? wizards and stuff??

i seem to recall 1, 3 and 4 were very similar which left 2 a standout scenario

but it was a long time ago. long, long time ago!
