That's quite a list, Graham. Exciting stuff.

Can I request some sort of Community Creation/Open Content publishing license be made up? Might increase AFF exposure and engagement, thereby increasing sales. Works for The Biggest Role-Playing Game.

I will ask Steve, but i somehow doubt that he would be keen...Zettonsperson wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 2:15 amCan I request some sort of Community Creation/Open Content publishing license be made up? Re: What's Next on the Horizon for AFF2e?
I thought opening up the licensing was a bit of a mixed bag for WotC? They wanted everyone else to produce adventures for them, which happened. But they also got everyone cloning the various editions of the rules and openly distributing them, resulting in a lot using those instead of buying the latest from them. I doubt that was the plan.
Re: What's Next on the Horizon for AFF2e?
Even a more limited license would be interesting (adventures only, no rules supplements?). Or some sort of standardised submissions/approval route...
Writing adventures to run is one thing, but the work involved in expanding on the notes to make them adventures other people can run might happen more often.

I am always willing to look at publishing adventures, supplements, settings books etc if anyone wants to propose them to me!Chompy wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 5:14 pmEven a more limited license would be interesting (adventures only, no rules supplements?). Hello all.
Been lurking here for quite a while poking around here and there (SkinnyOrc, I love your enhancement PDF's!)
I sent Graham a YT message about the solo adventure supplement.
There was mention of trying out the upcoming Fantasy Grounds VTT beta test before it gets released.
I've been holding off on buying Fantasy Grounds as I am heavily leaning towards 'Foundry Virtual Tabletop' as I feel it is more modern and cheaper.
However, would love to try out the FF 2nd edition beta to see how it plays out.
Would be nice to see the Arion line of RPG systems get the recognition they deserve.
If you make a Maelstrom Fantasy Grounds VTT system as well, then I would be forced to buy Fantasy Grounds.
Regards all.

I'd forgotten about the Fantasy Grounds chit chat! I bought the Unity Lifetime sub recently, so I'm absolutely up for being a test guinea pig with it!

I will keep you all informed about the Solo Guide. I need to have a good chat with dan who is doing much of the work at the moment.nivek wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 3:54 amHello all.

There is already a Domesday ruleset, but it is fairly old and only works in FG Classic. The new AFF one works really well in the new FG Unity version however. I am just waiting on one more small update before I send it to people for testing.
At the moment, it is a character sheet from which you can roll stats and special skills. Automation will follow of most of the other rules though.
(Can you send me a PM with your email address and I will send you the file when It is updated. You can download FGU and test it on your own computer, but cannot actually host a game without a license.)
Re: What's Next on the Horizon for AFF2e?
Great! PM sent.
Re: What's Next on the Horizon for AFF2e?
Thanks for the encouragement, reminds me to get some other stuff finished!
