Anything like Tortles on Titan?

Post by Damian May » Wed Jul 15, 2020 11:24 pm

My memory and searching hasn't turned up anything and a player has asked, I can go Mutant Lizardman but thought I'd check first.

i don't remember Tortles on Titan either, but it doesn't mean you can't add them... just go through the New Races section on the Core book, starting at page 153. You should find everything you need, there.

Will do. Just wanted to check there wasn't anything canon beforehand. While researching I found a hell of a lot of amphibian humanoids on Titan...like a lot. :D

The Weevil Men from Beyond the Pit have sturdy half-shells on their backs along with rules (well, a rule) for using their shells defensively.

Using the D&D module conversion system I developed a Tortle would be:

SKILL: 8
STAMINA: 8
Attacks: 1
Weapon: Large Bite/Claw or by weapon
Armour: Heavy
Damage Modifier: None
Habitat: Jungle, Plains
Number Encountered: 1-6
Type: Humanoid
Reaction: Friendly
Intelligence: Average

Using the Weevil Man shell mechanic with them is an interesting idea. The D&D ones didn't have anything like that but it might work.
