First Fan Adventure posted

Postby bottg » Wed Aug 17, 2011 9:03 pm

It has been a very busy time recently, hence fairly slow on the AFF front, but i am starting to get going again now. And first up is an adventure: Raiders of the Desecrated Temple

This was submitted to the Fighting Fantazine "design an adventure" competition, and although not the winner, is too good to let languish on a hard drive somewhere.

With original illustrations and maps by the author, this is a good intro adventure, or one for slightly more experienced heroes.

I think the only bit that could be slightly improved is the map...

I just recently discovered that FF gamebooks actually HAD a RPG system attached (AFF) and I'm now having a look around, but if Arion would be happy to host fan made adventures, I think I'll definitely go for it, sooner or later...

A recent website restructure seems to have removed this adventure...

Any chance we can find it somewhere else?

I have a paper copy, if I remember I will scan it and upload it as a file later.
He just sits there tapping away all day on a tiny screen. But he tells everyone that he is slaying Orcs.

I've had it on my web space here for people asking for it ever since the changes to the Arion site. My ISP seems to have decided to not provide that service this minute but that's what you get for free. Expect it'll be working again before long.

How about the other submitted adventures?

I'd like to see those too but it was five years ago now. Odds don't seem good.
