Three falls is built on 3 levels and split by the 3 falls where it hugs the side of a huge cliff there are 2 docks for shipping and a strongly fortified entrance guards the tunnels and locks that transport ships from top to bottom

I have arough map of the city but haven't started to populate it yet, each level is protected by heavily fortified walls and each of the city sections has its own barracks and watch garrison. Roads bridges and tunnels connect the various levels of the city up, down, and through the cliff face for protection there are several fortified platforms placed up the cliff face holding heavy siege weapons such as Ballistae, Mangonels, and catapults. There is also the possibility that the city could hold a mounted cavalry squadron of eagles or other flying beast, maybe even a Dragon.

As I have said this is currently a work in progress but do with it what you will as it may be a very long time before I am able to do some work on it for my own games. Sadly real life has an annoying habit of getting in the way. Enjoy :D

Just want to start a light thread that talks about what your next AFF adventure will be. That will be the place to share what we're up to and maybe inspire each other in the process.
Well I finally finished converting the Riddling Reaver to AFF2, so i'll be running that on sunday.

Ok, Gilligran's hammer has been returned to it's owner. Adventure done, 400th paragraph succeeded ;)

My next adventure : Escort a group of Pilgrim to a sacred Galana's shrine. This pilgrimage is organised by Adam of the Vale (yes the same as in Forest of Doom) and it will be a piece of cake...

 almost

On this adventure :
Kaligaro, male dwarf sorcerer from Khare
Tehakwe, male elf priest of Raven, the crow lord
Landon, male human adventurer from Silverton
Itamora, female elf ranger known as "the maiden"
And maybe others to confirm...

I'm currently running a PBF on RPGGeek. Recently ran into some player problem and the game was stalled for a few days...sigh.

Anyway, I'm running a free to roam campaign within a region sandbox. Besides modifying the Wishing Well, I've incorporated a new village in the Vale of Willow (sort of like a base for the heroes), sorcerer adventures from the old Allansia book (bought them off eBay), modified on The Warlock from Firetop Mountains, Crypt of the Sorcerer and a self-written adventure roughly based on the book, Trolltooth Wars.

Hopefully the heroes don't do something stupid and kill themselves, I will be also expanding on the Forest of Yore and possibly a few adventures off Blacksand.

So back in the game after big vacations.

My next game will take place between Stonebridge and the Firetop Mountain. I've found a sentimental reason to send the PC's in this infamous place but they'll have an adventure on the road.

They will cross a swamp during a big mist. In this place, an Hydra (the big one with 7 heads) will attack them and they'll be quickly overpowered. During the fight, they will stumble on an iron door that lies on a rocky wall.

They will probably be tempted to enter it just to take a break. To be able to go past the Hydra the best route is through this unexpected dungeon... I'll make sure that the dwarf character has some clues that it can have an other exit at the other end of this place.

I have decided to do a story in the Khul. I wanted to try something foreign and different, and Khul seems to be that, in setting, magic, and creatures. I'm hoping to add 2 new types of rolling into the game to make it more dramatic. Please give any opinions you have on these.
-Speed rolling combat: If a player and a NPC are in combat and they have the same Skill than I let two other players track the Stamina, while the player and I roll rapidly, quickly reading results. This will work best for one-on-one challenges.
-Speed rolling series: The player needs to make a series of actions so he rolls the dice for several skill checks or combat maneuvers. Ie; player wants to run to magical sword but is confronted by several enemies, he must make 1 roll to break the line, 2 rolls to fend off enemies, 1 roll to snatch the sword.

The idea for these kinds of rolling techniques are to develop tension.

I still don't have an exact place in Khul, yet.

For a Google hangout game with another group of players, I was asked to prepare a game for them to try out AFF. We played GURPS, me as a player, and enjoyed it but now, they want AFF, me as a GM.

The game will take place in Blacksand and will lead the players under the city, into dark and secret corridors of Carsepolis. A wandering male elf, a female dwarven cook and a human male chaos mage (yes chaos mage) will join forces together to find a dangerous pirates who have the map that tells where an ancient dwaven artifact is hidden... to prepare this, I had to use every books available for AFF (even Sorcery spell book at some point...)

oh... :? I'd like to see that indeed. But before I can get an order from amazon or ebay with a decent price and a reasonable delay, this short adventure will be done.

Just for fun, I was thinking to try the random dungeon generator from the Core rulebook. I guess it will be wild but Carsepolis may be in some parts...

This sounds strange, as I got the Dungeoneer from Amazon at the cost of delivery + one penny...

I just re-checked, just to make sure, and I found that (pre-owned) Dungeoneers are still for about nothing + delivery costs.

Yeah, I ordered this morning. About 15$ shipping included not bad. And then I got frenzy and ordered the old Blacksand book and the first FF RPG. Not that expensive finally. All together it was cheaper than PF core rulebook ;)

In my experience, the only one that was a bit more expensive was "Allansia!" (i.e. the third of AFF1ed).
Dunno why.

Delivery costs sound pretty high, in Canada...
