Will it be compatible with the simpler FASERIP rules in Original Basic MSH (the yellow box)?
I've loved the first MSH, and found Advanced and Revised too fiddly for my tastes.

Pretty much. It is somewhat stripped down from the FASERIP retroclone, but the core of the system is the same. I never had the yellow box version so cannot be absolutely sure.

If in doubt, pledge and read the manuscript! 8)
