Torra, a Stellar Adventures setting
Hello,
I've been having a lot of fun recently with Stellar Adventures (great piece of work!) and with the rediscovery of Confrontation! (A very old, very nieche GW game).
Here is a setting which has come as a result. I've tried to give a good framework while at the same time giving lots of room for players to take their own directions.
Any thoughts and comments welcome!

Re: Torra, a Stellar Adventures setting
Can you please upload it as a single file? perhaps as a pdf? it would be easier to read and handle

Re: Torra, a Stellar Adventures setting
I really like it - I was a big fan of Confrontation and Necromunda so it sits really well with me. I'd love to see some imagery for it, and the Rebellion side of it appeals to me, especially the idea that there's a much bigger interstellar community out there. To start on Torra, spend a long time in the misery of the cities fighting for a chance to get off-world? That'd make a great campaign.

Re: Torra, a Stellar Adventures setting
Thanks for the thumbs up!
Yes I wanted to alude to something bigger but not describe it in detail. In part to give Directors the space to create but also to give the reader a better feeling of how people on Torra see things. The knowledge that there is something out there but your education never reached the point of explaining it so it's just a vague idea rather than a concrete thing.
That is one of the ideas for an adventure which I was thinking of, perhaps something for me to make after finishing the one I am working on now.

Re: Torra, a Stellar Adventures setting
I really enjoyed reading the setting, and I suggest that giving some rough figures (for example how many inhabitants are in the cities, how big are the cities, etc.) would help understanding the scales of things.

Thank you!
Yes I'll go back and add some more numbers.
I've also added a second version of the Bringing down the house personalities file with pictures for those who wish.

Looks Good!
He just sits there tapping away all day on a tiny screen. But he tells everyone that he is slaying Orcs.

Re: Torra, a Stellar Adventures setting
Thanks! This is the first time I've attempted something as big as this and have to say that I am enjoying it, and pleased to see that others are enjoying it too
I have updated the background with the following:
- More details on the size and population of the cities in the initial introduction.
- Sketching out the available technology in the initial introduction.
- Adding shopping rules in the Additional rules section.
The PDF in the second post of this thread has been updated.
