From the fantastic pen of Sergio "Terrax" de la Cruz comes...... A Spanish translation of the AFF Quickstart!
I personally can't read any Spanish at all, but it looks fantastic.

I'm with you 100% on that.
All my new map image files have a separate layer for text, so other language versions are no problem.

Also makes it much easier to make player handouts. Layers are an excellent idea.Mr Nibbs wrote:

Re: Spanish AFF
The master map is 100% digital and everything has its own layer, so there are plenty of options for info selection. The adventure maps will probably look more like those in Dungeoneer. That's the idea, anyway.

Re: Spanish AFF
Perhaps Graham can upload it to DriverThruRPG, like the Italian one.... is there a French Quickstart Guide as well?

Re: Spanish AFF
Not exactly the same, not a translation, but a guy made an excellent document some years ago about how to create a character for French AFF ('DF-Jdr', for Défis Fantastiques - Le Jeu de rôle), that can be downloaded there.
It is called 'Kit de création de personnages, par DelArmgo' (DelArmgo is the pseudo, he was also the creator of French gamebook/rpg webzine La Saltarelle, which provided some DF-Jdr stuff -you'll find some links on the same page - and that became Les Alkonautes and now Alko Venturus).
But the idea to have the Quick Start Guide in French too is excellent. It could even include some additional rules among the most useful.
