Priestly Powers confusion?

Postby AeonThePhoenix » Wed Mar 07, 2012 7:33 pm

Say for example I'd chosen Galana, Goddess of Nature and Fertility.

Are the three general powers listed under her:

a) Examples of what three powers would best fit one of her Priests - meaning I don't have to have them specifically but those would be considered typical for a Priest of Galana.

b) Definitively the powers that all of her Priests have, meaning that I can't replace them with anything else?

If you are the GM, treat them as a suggestion.

As a player, you will get those unless your GM agrees to something different.

AFF especially is one of those games that you can tweak and alter to be what you want.

Ahh the Pirates of the Caribbean approach. Treat them as "more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules." In that case, I have a Priest of Galana I'd better get in touch with.

Though if you assume Priests are capable of blessing objects or areas in the name of their Deity, Create Food/Water would be a handy means of obtaining Holy Water for fighting zombies and supplying a vital component for a Sorcerer's RES spell.
